Eravallikolothamma went to Irushivanam and prayed for her children.
A female deer ate the flower chanted by Mahamuni and gave the deer human calf to Kolothamma.
The girl received divine inspiration and became Chukannamma. Puthruvadi Nair,
who was ready to cut the palm and make a bow, became divine and first built the kolam.
This theyyam is built by the Vannan community.
